Older USSF DOcuments - not just of historic interest

  1. ADVICE TO REFEREES ON THE LAWS OF THE GAME - 2010The ATR was developed through the USSF to provide practical advice to referees that referees in other countries, who had grown up in a soccer-rich culture, already had. This document was originally generated by a collaboration between Alfred Kleinaitis, Jim Allen, who doubled as editor, and Dan Heldman, with substantial contributions from Gil Weber, Ulrich Strom, Wally Beaumont, Chuck Fleischer, Michelle Maloney, and Tom Frazee. Shortly after the 2010 edition was released, USSF stopped this highly useful and effective collaboration and took over the revising and editing of future issues. The final edition I have found is from 2014:ADVICE TO REFEREES ON THE LAWS OF THE GAME

  2. During the time period 2000 - 2012, USSF generated a number of "Position Papers" to clarify and interpret changes in TLOG and issues among USSF referees that needed more consistency. Below is a list of those Position Papers that I have saved.
